Week 3 Learning Tasks

Mrs. Singhs ClassTasks- April 20-27th, 2020

Hello Parents,

Thank you so much for all of your help and support at home helping your kids transition to online learningThis has been a very steep learning curve for us all, but I am very impressed with how these first two weeks went.

A few important pieces of information:

GOOGLE MEET
This is a time where I would like ALL students to join in and participate. Students will have an opportunity to chat with their peers to have a sense of normalcy. I will also be doing short lessons on topics we are learning about. This is a great time for students to connect with their peers and ask questions J

Next meeting: Wednesday, April 22 at 1pm
Class Nickname: sksingh51

OFFICE HOURS
These are times that I will be in our Google Meet space, available for online help for childrenIf they have a question or need help with assigned work, they can sign into our Google Meet space any time during these times, and I will be able to help them.   This time is scheduled for student helpIf parents have questions, please email me and we can schedule a separate time to talkI am always available via email to answer questions This is a wonderful time for students to have some one-on-one time with the teacher. Please note that this time is not mandatory for all students to come at these times. It is meant for anyone who has questions or needs help with assignments J

Mondays: 1:00pm-2:00pm
Fridays: 11:00am-12:00pm

If you were having trouble getting onto Google Meet, please email me and we will figure it out I have figured out a better way to view studentsYou can install this free chrome extension onto your computer and it will allow your child to see everyone in the class and make it way easier for them to follow what is going on. Plus, they get to see all of their friends at the same time!! This is completely optional, students do not need this to participate in Google Meet conversations….its just a neat little add on!

You can install the FREE Google Chrome Brower extension here if you would like:

Here is a video to show you how to install this extension as well.
